Woven Rope Bench Seats Take Reupholstering To A Whole New Level (PHOTOS)

Reupholstering a chair or bench is a great way to give new lifestyle to old furniture. But if you’re looking not only to clean up the look of the piece, but to also add some edge, Today’s Nests had a great DIY idea.

To turn a discarded bench frame into the perfect seating for a bedroom reading area, the bloggers used orange towing rope to weave the seat instead of fabric. And even though you may be skeptical about the strength of the rope, it’s actually very sturdy.
