Who knew Taye Diggs was so fierce?
The actor, best known for his roles in "Rent" and on "Private Practice," single-handedly warded off an invasion at his Los Angeles home on Sunday night after returning from the Screen Actors Guild Awards, where he presented alongside Busy Philipps.
TMZ reports that Diggs was home when a man tried to break in shortly after 11 p.m. Law enforcement officials said Diggs confronted the intruder and chased him after the man took off running. Diggs caught up to the suspect, who was said to be about 20, and held him until police arrived.
To top it all off, the perpetrator had a getaway driver who apparently was of no use. The driver fled the scene, probably upon realizing that Diggs is not one whose ferocity should be questioned.
