Lily Rabe is returning to "American Horror Story" for Season 3.
Series co-creator Ryan Murphy made the announcement on his Twitter account.
Rabe received favorable reviews for her portrayal of Sister Mary Eunice, a once innocent nun who becomes possessed by the devil, in "American Horror Story: Asylum." The Huffington Post's Maureen Ryan said Rabe "gave a performance of such sustained deliciousness as Sister Mary Eunice that she alone was worth the price of admission."
In an interview with HuffPost TV in early January 2013, Rabe said if she were to come back for Season 3, she'd want to work with Evan Peters.
"He's so amazing. I love Evan," she said. "I think he's so special and he's just a great guy and a great actor. Evan and I had a little bit in Season 1. We're sort of like, 'Hey, Ryan. What about us? C'mon. Give us a scene. Let's go!'"
Good news for Rabe because Peters is returning for the new season alongside Jessica Lange and Sarah Paulson. Murphy said he's in talks with Taissa Farmiga of Season 1 fame to return for Season 3 and is working on bringing in new actors to the "American Horror Story" world.
"I'm just now meeting up with a lot of actors so I don't want to say too much, actors that Jessica wants to work with," Murphy said. Lange also requested a little glamor for Season 3. "So she's become the uncredited producer of Season 3," Murphy said.
