Did you know that there is a biological reason behind your teen's wacky sleep habits? Chief Medical Editor for NBC News Dr. Nancy Snyderman explained that historically, young men protected the elders of society and surrounded the village at night to make sure wild animals didn't come in.
Young men are still wired to stay up late and sleep in late the night day, but since society no longer works this way, Dr. Snyderman suggested tips for changing your teen's sleep schedule. To fall asleep easier, teen boys should unplug from electronics and take an hour before bed to relax and prepare for sleep.
