On Monday's episode of Howard Stern's Sirius XM radio show, guest Russell Brand dished on his post-divorce love life and his thoughts on ex-wife Katy Perry's new squeeze, John Mayer.
When asked if he thought Mayer was a "worse womanizer" than him, Brand responded with a laugh, “Worse or better, depending on how you view it."
And how, exactly, does that make Brand feel?
"You have to let go of the instinct to protect someone once you divorce them," he told Stern.
The "Brand X" star also opened up about his rumored relationship with fellow divorcee, Demi Moore. Although he told The Sun last week that they were just yoga buddies, Brand joked that he would be more than willing to get physical with the actress.
“I really like her," he said. "She’s a beautiful person. I’ve not made love to her yet, Howard, but it’s a matter of time. That's the sort of thing that will get put in the newspaper."
The funnyman filed for divorce from Perry back in December 2011 after 14 months of marriage. Their split was finalized in July 2012.
Perry has been dating Mayer on and off since last summer when they were spotted canoodling together at Soho House in West Hollywood. Since the split, Brand has been linked to a number of women, including Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, Jordana Brewster's younger sister Isabella Brewster and actress Juliette Lewis.
