Blake Griffin Dunk After Switching Hands: Clippers Star Shifts Ball, Throws Down Lefty Slam (VIDEO)

WATCH: Blake Griffin Drops Incredible, Ambidextrous Slam

Blake Griffin may not be participating in the 2013 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, but he threw down ambidextrous effort on Monday night in Philadelphia that could rival anything the competitors have planned for Houston.

After initiating the pick and roll with Chris Paul on the wing, Griffin peeled off toward the rim. CP3 dropped a bounce pass right into the path of the 2011 NBA Slam Dunk champion. Grabbing the ball with this right hand, Griffin prepared for launch. Seemingly not worrying about playing the supporting role in a forthcoming poster, 76ers center Spencer Hawes stepped in front of Griffin.

Undaunted, Griffin adjusted. Shifting the ball away from Hawes and into his left hand, Griffin rose -- and rose some more -- to throw down a southpaw slam. For his trouble, Hawes was whistled for a foul along the way.

"He changed hands in mid-air," marveled Clippers announcer Michael Smith.

To add an exclamation point to Griffin's emphatic statement, DeAndre Jordan slammed home the rebound off the missed free throw to stake L.A. to a 73-48 lead. The Clippers would go on to win 107-90.
