Dan Auerbach Divorce: The Black Keys Singer Splits From Wife, Attends Grammys Solo (REPORT)

Black Keys Frontman Splits From Wife

Sunday night was a big one for the Black Keys' Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, who scooped up three awards as a band and an additional Best Producer award for Auerbach. But behind the scenes, the Black Keys frontman was singing a different tune. As Us Weekly exclusively reports, Auerbach is currently going through a divorce from his wife, Stephanie Gonis.

"Dan's wife wasn't there [at the ceremony] because they are going through a divorce," a source told Us Weekly, adding that the split is "unfortunate." The musician also wasn't wearing his wedding band that night.

The couple's split comes just months after Carney, the second half of the Keys, married Emily Ward, reports Daily Mail. The two tied the knot in the backyard of their home in Nashville last September.

At the Grammys, Auerbach and Carney won awards for Best Rock Album for "El Camino," and Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance for "Lonely Boy," which they also played live onstage with Dr. John and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Auerbach, as mentioned, also won Producer of the Year, Non-Classical.
