Bill Maher Is Over Donald Trump Law Suit: 'He Thinks A Joke Is A Binding Legal Agreement' (VIDEO)

Maher On Trump: 'It's Like They Took Lennie From 'Mice & Men' & Made Him A Billionaire'

Bill Maher stopped by "Conan" on Tuesday to talk, among other things, about Donald Trump's threatened orangutan law suit, which he seems to consider beyond frivolous. Trump is planning to sue Maher for not paying up the $5 million the "Real Time" host bet him to prove he wasn't the child of an orangutan.

"He thinks a joke is a binding legal agreement," explained Maher.

While Maher certainly had plenty of fun at the billionaire former-sort-of-presidential-candidate's expense, he's had just about enough of the saber-rattling. "The legal system in this country's not a joke. It's not a toy for rich idiots to play with."

Still, Maher doesn't know for sure how far Trump plans to take the whole thing. When Conan asked how serious Maher thinks the suit is, he explained, "How do I know what is in this man's head? It's like they took Lennie from 'Mice & Men' and made him a billionaire."

Let's hope Trump wasn't watching that.
