'Hoarding: Buried Alive': Hoarder's 93-Year-Old Mom Trapped In Clutter (VIDEO)

EXCLUSIVE: Hoarder's 93-Year-Old Mom Held Hostage In Clutter

On "Hoarding: Buried Alive," David dreams of making it big as a rock star, but his hoarding has put his 93-year-old mother's life in danger.

Compulsive hoarder David, 65, essentially keeps his mother Louise hostage in her own home. And he's verbally abusive.

"I don't know how it came to this," Louise said in the exclusive video above. "When David first came home, it was a good thing. But then after a while, he began to get interested in this collecting and hoarding business."

Louise said confronting David won't work. "He yells at me, so I just shut my mouth," she said.

David's managed to fill every livable space in her home with various collections he refuses to get rid of. The hoarding has gotten so bad that the insurance company has revoked Louise's homeowner's insurance because of the liabilities David's hoarding has created. In the episode, Dr. Julie Pike and David's family come together to try and create a safe environment for Louise.

"Hoarding: Buried Alive" airs Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
