'Sopranos' Alum Is Dwight's Newest 'Office' Nemesis

The "Sopranos" veteran will play Sensei Billy, a karate instructor who is driven more than a little crazy by Dwight's (Rainn Wilson) attendance at his dojo. His episode will air in the spring.

In other casting news ...

Patton Oswalt will pay a visit to "Parks And Recreation." When Leslie (Amy Poehler) attempts to update some of the more questionable laws in Pawnee's sexist town charter in an upcoming episode, she'll be blocked by Oswalt's "strict constructionist" character, Garth Blundin, who will argue with her at every turn to preserve the charter's traditions. "Spartacus" star boards "The Vampire Diaries." Cynthia Addai-Robinson will join the show as Aja, "a powerful witch, with a connection to Bonnie's mother, who comes to Mystic Falls to help Bonnie control her magic" in the CW series' March 21 episode. [TV Guide]

Constance Zimmer joins "The Newsroom." The "Entourage" and "House of Cards" star will play Taylor, "a press spokesperson for the Mitt Romney campaign" in the HBO drama's second season. [Deadline]
