Back in the 1960s, McDonald's employees didn't just get the go-ahead to flip hamburgers after completing the fast food chain's employee training. Apparently, one received an actual, physical diploma from the Universitas McDonald's Hambergerensis.
Mmm, sounds delicious.
Today, the McDonald's training facility, Hamburger University, is still up and running, but employees are now more likely to have actual college degrees. Since the recession, a weak job market has increasingly forced college graduates into low-wage jobs, such as those at fast food restaurants.
