'Parks & Recreation': Ben And Leslie Get Married

In the first of two episodes of "Parks & Recreation," the action picked up right where it left off last week. Ben and Leslie had abruptly decided to get married that night, right after the benefit. That left only a few hours to pull everything together, but this is a team that can get things done. And they did.

If only Leslie's rival on the city council hadn't been such a drunken dirtbag that Ron had to knock him out -- with one punch -- everything would have been perfect. Instead, Leslie refused to have the ceremony without Ron, who was in jail. And once they lost the venue, she thought it was too late.

That's when her team rallied together to give her a great surprise. She took Ron back to the office, where he gave her a touching speech about how much he cares about her, and then offered her his arm. They walked into the office where they'd become a family, where everyone was waiting for a surprise ceremony.

Everything about the ceremony was perfect "Parks & Recreation," from Leslie saying she had 70 pages of vows written up to Jerry getting cut off while saying, "You may now kiss the bride."

ScreenCrush called it "magnificent," with the reviewer writing, "I’m pretty sure I took a bath in my own tears tonight."

"Parks & Recreation" always has plenty of heart to go with all those laughs, Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. EST on NBC.
