Sharon Stone is known for making a splash on the red carpet. Sometimes that splash is appropriate, like when she stunned at the 1998 Oscars in her then-husband's Gap button-down paired with a Vera Wang evening skirt. But recently her style choices have been less-than-appropriate, including many a bra-less outfit where her nipples have been inadvertently exposed.
So when she showed up at the 21st Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party in Los Angeles last night, we were shocked. The blonde actress was radiant in a black Roberto Cavalli gown that was neither sheer, nor revealing. The dress boasted a high neckline, long sleeves and a floor-length hemline. But it was the body-conscious shape, stark black color against her blonde locks and emerald drop earrings that, all together, made for a jaw-droppingly gorgeous look. And we definitely looked twice when we saw her man, who appears bizarrely similar to a pre-divorce Kevin Federline.
