UPDATE -- Despite Wednesdays's reports, a source told Us Weekly that Demi Moore's exclusion from the party was not actually a snub.

The magazine reports an insider as having said Moore couldn't attend simply because she "was out of the country on vacation." The source reportedly said that all is well between the two old pals.

Madonna and Demi More used to be BFFs, but now it appears Moore has been cast aside in favor of her soon-to-be ex-husband Ashton Kutcher.

Kutcher was spotted cutting a rug at Madonna's annual private Oscar bash on Sunday night. We normally wouldn't think much of it, as everyone knows Madonna has a plethora of celebrity pals who could potentially nab invitations to her coveted party. But there's one twist here: Madonna and Demi Moore previously hosted the Oscar party together. (You may recall Lindsay Lohan being turned away at the door of their 2011 party.)

But this year Moore was not even present at Madonna's fete, which was held at manager Guy Oseary's Los Angeles home. According to an anonymous Radar Online source, Madonna eliminated Moore in a sign of support for the actress's 35-year-old ex.

The Huffington Post reached out to Madonna's reps Wednesday evening to confirm the details but has not heard back.

"Madonna is firmly on side Ashton," the source reportedly told Radar Online. "She adores him and thinks that, out of him and Demi, he's the one with the glittering career."

The New York Post also confirmed Kutcher's presence at the event. The Post's spies say other attendees included Selena Gomez, Best Actor winner Daniel Day-Lewis and and John Travolta, who reportedly busted out his "Stayin' Alive" dance moves during the festivities.
