Wisconsin forward Ryan Evans has struggled from the free throw line all season. He had only made 16 of his last 38 from the foul line heading into Tuesday night's game against Nebraska. So the senior tried a new and unorthodox way of shooting from the charity stripe.
A jump shot free throw.
The Big Ten network showed Evans practicing the jump shot free throw before the game and it paid off. He went 2-for-2 from the foul line, finishing with 14 points and seven rebounds as Wisconsin won big, 77-46.
“It worked tonight, so I’m going to keep it going,” Evans said after the game, via Madison.com. “It felt good. I feel a lot more confident out there.”
