This guy sure knew how to push the cops' (gumdrop) buttons.
An alleged drug dealer left police a message on Montgomeryville-Lansdale Patch's Facebook page saying, "im not turnin my self....run run as fast as u can u cant catch me im da ginger bread man......sincierly da gingerbread man," the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
Mark Gross, Jr., 21, was spotted selling cocaine in October, Lansdale police say, and they have been trying to locate him ever since. On February 20, according to Mongomeryville-Lansdale Patch
The 21-year-old then contacted police again on Feb. 22, saying he would turn himself in, WFMZ-TV reported. He never did.
Prior to the alleged drug-dealing, police say Gross was already wanted for parole violation. He had pleaded guilty in 2011 for assaulting his then-pregnant girlfriend, according to Patch.
On Monday, police say they noticed Gross in the passenger seat of a parked car. After a small chase, he was brought into custody.
Gross Jr. remains incarcerated at Montgomery County prison. $25,000 and $10,000 cash bails were set for his October 2011 and February 2013 cases, respectively, according to the correctional facility's inmate database.
