Goldman Sachs' partners ball is back: for the first time since 2006, the investment bank held its lavish black-tie gala for partners, according to a report from New York magazine's Kevin Roose. Roose uncovered photos from the event, which was held last month at New York's Pier 36.
Roose joined HuffPost Live's Josh Zepps Friday morning to discuss the event.
"These are the top executives at Goldman Sachs and this is something that they used to do on a fairly regular basis," Roose said. "It was like prom for the one percent. They had a dinner, they had a jazz concert, there was dancing. It was a very lavish occasion. The kind of thing that people on Wall Street usually associate with the pre-crisis days."
