The Fox News Montage That Set Keith Ellison Off On Sean Hannity (VIDEO)

The Fox News Montage That Made Dem Explode At Hannity

A lot has been said about the caustic encounter earlier this week between Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) and Fox News host Sean Hannity, but what exactly caused Ellison to accuse Hannity of being "the worst excuse for a journalist I've ever seen"?

The video above shows the Fox News montage that Hannity played before interviewing Ellison. It's a mashup of President Barack Obama warning about the consequences of sequestration, played over the iconic and ominous sounding "O Fortuna" from "Carmina Burana."

Should it have been enough to set Ellison off?

Whether or not you think so, things between Ellison and Hannity have not gotten any better since the interview. On Thursday, Hannity likened Ellison to a member of the KKK in a segment on the Muslim congressman's alleged proximity to controversial figures in the Nation of Islam. Ellison has encouraged his supporters to "stand up" against Hannity's "right-wing hate."

Below, watch the original on-air battle between Ellison and Hannity.
