Forbes Magazine announced its list of the richest men and women Monday, and several Michigan moguls appear among the world's billionaires.

Ranking 239, Richard DeVos' fortunes don't come near the top international earners. But with an amassed $5.1 billion, the Amway founder is the 71st richest man in the country, ranking number one in Michigan. And yes, they do call him Rich. (For comparison, the very top spot belongs to Carlos Slim Helu, who is worth $73 billion.)

Dan Gilbert, a Metro Detroiter by way of Cleveland, has a net worth of $3.5 billion, up $1.5 from last year, according to Forbes. Too bad for Mike and Marian Ilitch -- who own the Little Caesars empire, the Red Wings, the Tigers and MotorCity Casino-Hotel between the two of them -- Glbert has surpassed the couple, who ranked above him last year. That makes the skyscraper-buying Cavs owner the most flush in the Motor City region.

It was a good year for billionaires: Forbes found a record 1,426 of them, 200 more than last year, and together they are worth $5.4 trillion, up 17 percent from last year.
