Online Marriage Proposal: Man Pops The Question On TheKnot.com (VIDEO)

WATCH: The Most Ironic Proposal Ever?

Brides typically turn to TheKnot.com after the proposal, but in an ironic twist, the site was recently used to pop the question.

The Knot wrote in a blog post on Friday that on Saturday at 4 p.m. EST, a rollover banner would appear on the website featuring a mystery man's marriage proposal. On Monday, the couple's identities and a video of the proposal were revealed. Find out how the proposal went down in the video above.

The groom-to-be, Jerid Hedrick, told The Knot that he met his girlfriend, Lacey, in a Denver coffee shop in February 2012 and the two remained together throughout his deployment to Kuwait that summer.
