"Snowquestration" turned into the "No-Show Quester" for much of the Washington region yesterday, as the outer suburbs were pounded with snow while downtown D.C. saw plenty of rain but little snow accumulation.

It was a disappointing end to yet another year of minimal snow for the District and with temperatures on the up-swing today through the weekend, we can tell spring is just around the corner.

Before getting into full spring mode (cherry blossoms are almost here!), we're savoring a few favorite things about winter.
