Cher may be a legend in the music world, but don't expect her to master social media anytime soon.
The singer has raised eyebrows for posting more than a few puzzling messages on Twitter. She's also made headlines for tweeting rants about the war in Afghanistan and getting into a public feud with Donald Trump.
On HuffPost Live Tuesday, CNN producer Jack Gray recalled the time he tried to teach the famous singer how to use the site. Gray, who is a producer on "Anderson Cooper 360", said friend and comedian Kathy Griffin actually encouraged Cher to give him a call.
"She calls me up and I answer and you hear the famous Cher voice," he said. "I'm like, 'Cher, how can I help you? Are you using this on your phone, or your laptop or whatever? And she's like, 'I don't know if I have it on my phone. It's asking me for my password. I dont know what my pasword is.'"
"Clearly I failed," Gray continued, "because if you've seen her Twitter feed, it's still crazy, which is amazing in her Cher kind of way."
Gray is currently promoting his new book "Pigeon In A Crosswalk", in which he shares stories from his personal life and adventures in the media world. Gray told HuffPost Live that he wished he had included the Cher exchange in the book, but that it might be better saved for an audio version.
