Today in fun Twitter jokes: Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill took to social media to admit that he was simply too intoxicated to continue work on the band's upcoming album.

The series of tweets make nice reading for fans of the band, as they eagerly await the band's forthcoming six studio album -- the first since 2010's "Come Around the Sundown."

Followill, who told a curious fan that he normally drinks "between seven and eight days" a week, seemed amused by his own inebriation, remarking that his Twitter drafts were chock full of potential goodies.

And this concludes another episode of Peep the Tweets.
