'Hell's Kitchen' Premiere: Contestant Brings A Puppet Into Gordon Ramsay's Cooking Competition (VIDEO)

It was time for more of that patented Gordon Ramsay screaming as a new season of "Hell's Kitchen" got underway on Fox. Right away, the pressure seemed to be getting to one of the contestants. Or perhaps Gina came into the competition a little off already.

She spent much of the premiere interacting with a puppet, rather than studying the menu given for the upcoming challenge. She even got into arguments with the other contestants.

"My name is Alfredo Al Dente," she said through the puppet. But Nedra wasn't amused, and lashed out at Gina and Alfredo.

"B*tch, who brings a puppet in Hell’s Kitchen?," she said. "This is not ‘Sesame Street.'"

Gina probably should have spent more time studying -- maybe Alfredo could read over the material for her -- as she seemed to have a bit of a breakdown the next day in the kitchen due to lack of preparation. She wasn't endearing herself to any of the other contestants with her antics.

Critics weren't impressed either, with Gossip & Gab calling Gina "coo-coo" and Buddy TV saying that she needs to get her head in the game if she wants any chance of sticking around.

Luckily, her team won this first challenge and it was Sebastian who had the dubious honor of being the first contestant eliminated in Season 11. "Hell's Kitchen" continues on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
