"Private Practice" may have ended, but Shonda Rhimes still has plans for Kate Walsh in the world of "Grey's Anatomy."
"I would love to see Addison back at Seattle Grace at some point for a visit," Rhimes told The Hollywood Reporter. "I've said a million times that before the show ends its run, Addison has got to put on her shoes and scrub cap and come scrub in at the hospital. That's a given for me."
Rhimes would also like to bring back Caterina Scorsone, who co-starred on "Private Practice," in the role of Ameila Shepherd.
"Private Practice" wrapped up its six-year run in January 2013 and series star Walsh could end up back on TV in the fall. Walsh is reportedly in talks to star in NBC's "Bad Judge," a comedy about a judge who isn't afraid to party and plays with the law.
Scorsone penned a blog for The Huffington Post prior to the "Private Practice" finale.
"As the dear friends that I've made while working on 'Private Practice' scatter to the winds to find new jobs and new stories to play, I want to say thank you on behalf of the whole cast for being as beautiful and fucked-up as the characters we had the privilege to play for the last clutch of years," she wrote. "Without you there would have been no us. Yours were the heartbeats we were fighting for; yours were the tears we shed and the jokes we told."
