Mike Lee CPAC Speech Points Out Congress Is Barely More Popular Than The Flu (VIDEO)

Mike Lee CPAC Speech Delivered To Big Crowd

Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) addressed the 2013 Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday, wondering aloud why it's "any wonder" Congress is barely more popular than the flu.

"Is it any wonder that the vast majority of Americans have little to no confidence in government?" Lee said. "And that they have even less confidence in Congress?"

Lee went on to point out that Congress's current approval rating is "about 15 percent, which, by the way, makes us as members of Congress just a little more popular than Raul Castro and only slightly more popular than the influenza virus."

"But the virus is catching us quickly," Lee said.
