All eyes are on Austin this week as the music industry gathers at SXSW, but life in San Francisco isn't slowing down. The St. Paddy's Day festivities start early on Friday with the Aventine Alley Party in North Beach followed by the 162nd St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival at Civic Center. Meanwhile, the Brides of March will roam Union Square in search of cheap drinks and photo ops in their best thrift store wedding attire. For two quarters, attendees at 50 Cent Tabernacle can participate in open, mixed-level dance classes and Anarchist book worms gather for two days at the Anarchist Book Fair.
