Make your last-minute bracket changes and then get ready for some unheralded hoopsters to prove you wrong. At long last, it's tournament time.

The end-to-end action of the second round opens with a blockbuster matchup between Tom Izzo's No. 3 Michigan State Spartans and No. 14 Valparaiso at 12:15 p.m. EST in Auburn Hills. With 15 more games on the schedule for Thursday after that (and 16 more on Friday), it's best to hunker down wherever you are and get ready for some basketball.

According to a study from outplacement firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas, American workers cost their companies at least $134 million in “lost wages" during the first two full-schedule days of the tournament.
