Jimmy Kimmel had a very unusual "Grey's Anatomy" casting proposition for Ellen Pompeo. Her character Meredith Grey is pregnant on the long-running hospital drama, and Kimmel would like to play the baby.
"Does that mean we get to cuddle?" Pompeo asked him.
"We’ll do a lot more than just that. I mean you can change me and everything," Kimmel said.
Pompeo did feel they should draw the line at breastfeeding, but Kimmel insisted. "Yes, there is! Oh yes! I have to be healthy!" he said.
Pompeo said that her husband and Kimmel's fiancee might have a problem with that. So it's not looking good for Kimmel as Meredith Grey's baby on "Grey's Anatomy." And it so could have been. Meredith just found out this week that she'll be having a baby boy.
Fans can look forward to the baby's delivery by tuning in to "Grey's Anatomy" every Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on ABC. "Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.
