Happy birthday wishes go out to Diana Ross, who today turns 69 (March 26).
Ross rose to fame in the 1960s as part of the iconic R&B trio The Supremes ("Where Did Our Love Go?", "Stop, In The Name of Love!"), who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.
In a career that spans four decades, the wild-haired diva won numerous Grammy Awards and was nominated for an Academy Award in 1973, for portraying Billie Holiday in "Lady Sings the Blues."
Ross was married twice, has five children, and is the alternate guardian of Michael Jackson's three children.
Happiest of birthdays, Ms. Supreme!
