'Bar Rescue': What To Do When A Horse Walks Into A Bar (VIDEO)

'Bar Rescue': A Horse Walks Into A Bar - No Really!

Arizona's Kid Chilleen's Badass BBQ and Steakhouse was a bar that had some very unusual ideas. They didn't discriminate against anyone, be they human or horse! Jon Taffer, host of "Bar Rescue," couldn't believe they let a horse just walk in.

One of Taffer's rules for bar owners is to not drink in your own bar. But owners Scott and Donna Chilleen were so drunk that they thought it was uproarious when a drunk customer brought his horse into the establishment.

"Look, it got so scared it pooped!" they laughed, but Taffer wasn't amused in the slightest. He told the New York Daily News, "I can’t believe that someone who grows up in a horse town and was taught to respect that animal would behave that way. I’m a New York City boy, and I had more respect for that horse than them."

Before he could go about trying to fix up their bar and make it a destination worth seeking out, he had to sober up the owners.

Scott admitted that he was an alcoholic, and he said he drove his wife into drinking as well. It came down to their 21-year-old daughter to take care of them, despite the fact that she had dreams of their own.

Once he got the parents on board with the idea of sobriety, things were able to progress and they were able to get both the family and the business back on track. And there probably aren't going to be any more patrons of the equine variety.
