Richard Ben-Veniste: Boston Marathon Bombing Feels Like Atlanta Olympics, Oklahoma City (VIDEO)

Former 9/11 Commission member Richard Ben-Veniste joined HuffPost Live Tuesday to discuss Monday's Boston Marathon bombings, and said, in pure speculation, that the events call to mind the bombings at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and in Oklahoma City.

In response to a user question about whether the attack came from a foreign or domestic source, Ben-Veniste told HuffPost Live hosts Marc Lamont Hill and Alicia Menendez that the attacks feel more like past domestic terror incidents than

"On the basis of what's been made available publicly, I think everything at this point is speculation," he cautioned. "To me, again, in total speculation, this feels a little bit more like the Atlanta Olympics or Oklahoma City than Times Square. But that's not based on any objective evidence at all."

A Pakistani immigrant was arrested and convicted in 2010 for attempting to plan a terrorist attack in Times Square.
