Pauley Perrette Stars In GLAAD 'Coming Out For Equality' Video

WATCH: 'NCIS' Star Comes Out -- For LGBT Equality

Hollywood director Brett Ratner's GLAAD public service announcement series makes its much-anticipated debut this week with a stunning clip starring Pauley Perrette.

In the new video, the "NCIS" star and established lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights advocate compares being in the closet to the acting profession, before stressing that she's an "ally and supporter of equality for everyone."

Helmed by Ratner, the "Coming Out For Equality" PSA series will also feature stars like Jackie Chan, Jason Alexander, Athlete Ally's Hudson Taylor, Kristen Johnston and others. Comcast and NBCUniversal will serve as a leading media partner for the campaign.

Among those to praise the series was Comcast's Charisse R. Lillie, who said her organization was proud to "help share this message of acceptance and equality."

Lillie added, “Our support of diverse communities is a cornerstone of our culture and we are pleased to be able to provide this valuable air-time to promote this important message.”
