'Raising Whitley': Kym's Son Joshua Gets Girl Doll From Father Figure VIDEO)

WATCH: Kym Whitley's 'Hollywood Husbands'

Actress/comedian Kym Whitley isn't married, but there is no shortage of father figures around to help raise her son Joshua. Two men in particular -- Wendell and Rodney -- have prominent roles in Kym and Joshua's lives, prompting Kym to refer to them as her "Hollywood husbands."

"Some women don't even have one husband. I have two," Kym jokes.

Wendell explains, "Our relationship has never been like brother-and-sister or best friends. It's been like husband-and-wife... who don't sleep together."

In this sneak peek of Kym's new OWN docu-series "Raising Whitley," the flamboyant Wendell and more "traditional" Rodney give viewers a glimpse into what it's like to co-parent when you have very different personalities. Sometimes, they agree -- such as when Kym gives Joshua a pacifier in the clip. "I don't like when you give him this thing," Rodney tells Kym. "He's too old to have this in his mouth."

"See, well, even though I don't care for you and you don't have any hair, I agree with you!" Wendell says to Rodney, before turning to Kym. "[Joshua] is too old for binkies."

What he's not too old for, however, are gifts. Wendell reaches into his bag and presents Joshua with a doll, complete with fairy outfit and sparkling tiara. Kym bursts into laughter, but Rodney is less amused. "This ain't funny," he says, eyeing the toy.

Rodney's reaction is no surprise to Kym. "[Wendell and Rodney are] always butting heads because Wendell has one kind of lifestyle and Rodney has another lifestyle," she says. "[Wendell] knows Rodney hates doll-babies or pink or anything around Joshua… That's Wendell for you. If he can shake it up, oh, he's shaking."

Rodney asks Wendell, "Why couldn't you get him a boy doll?"

"I don't see nothing wrong with it!" Wendell says. "I grew up with dolls and stuff, and look at me and how well-rounded I am."

Watch the series premiere of "Raising Whitley" on Saturday, April 20, at 9 p.m. ET on OWN.
