Nike's Gay Athlete Endorsement Quest Discussed On 'The Rubin Report'

What Does Nike's Quest For A Gay Male Athlete Mean?

Earlier this week, Nike poached newly out women's college basketball star Brittney Griner for an endorsement deal, but the athletic wear giant apparently has even bigger plans in the works for the first openly gay male athlete.

Joining Dave Rubin on this week's "Rubin Report" to discuss the news were comedians Paul Case and Wendy Liebman. The trio even joked about what might happen if a straight athlete were to go "gay for pay" simply as an effort to snag a high-profile endorsement deal.

"I wonder how much this money is going to motivate somebody more than actually doing it for...a reason to be a role model," Case pondered.
