Red Light Camera Captures Chilling South Florida Accident (VIDEO)

A South Florida red light camera captured a chilling scene on April 15.

Around 5 a.m. a Cadillac runs a red light, which had been red for six seconds according to police, at the intersection of South Federal Highway and state Route 84, just north of the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

Video shows the driver, later identified as Christian Beasley Walters, 24, speed through the intersection at 60 mph before hitting another car.

As both vehicles spin out of control, a pedestrian crossing the street must run in order to escape what would have likely been a fatal hit by Walters' car.
