Change was looking imminent on "Army Wives" when Roland was offered a job at Johns Hopkins. Joan agreed to put in her Army papers and follow him there, but then things changed. Joan certainly wasn't expecting to get a promotion offer of her own. Unfortunately, her good news didn't translate into good news for the couple.
The Army dangles a carrot in front of you and you jump for it," Roland said to her.
“I don’t want to fight, Roland," she insisted, and Roland agreed to that. Instead, he had an ultimatum for her.
You accept that invitation, this marriage is over," he said.
TV Fanatic didn't feel that this moment was handled very well -- they were disappointed in the episode as a whole, too. They felt the divorce ultimatum came out of nowhere.
Come back for the fallout of his ultimatum on "Army Wives," Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
