Beyonce Wants More Kids, Blue Ivy To Be A Big Sister (VIDEO)

Beyonce Has Babies On The Brain

Blue Ivy might have a brother or sister soon because Mama Beyonce has plans to expand her family.

The 31-year-old superstar spoke with ABC News about motherhood and revealed that she hopes Blue Ivy will be a big sister someday.

“I would like more children," Beyonce told ABC. "I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being a big sister. At some point ... when it's supposed to happen."

Although she is currently busy jet-setting around the globe on her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, Beyonce's No. 1 job is being a mom.

"My biggest job in the world is to protect my daughter," she added. "And I am very protective. I just want to make sure that she can have a healthy, safe, normal life. I feel really, really just lucky that I can still do what I love and now have a way bigger meaning -- that's to be her mother.”

The superstar is not only proud to be a mother, but also a wife to Jay-Z. Motherhood has only helped round out Beyonce's purpose.

"I feel like Mrs Carter is who I am, but more bold and more fearless than I've ever been," she told British Vogue for the 2013 May issue. "It comes from knowing my purpose and really meeting myself once I saw my child. I was like, 'OK, this is what you were born to do.' The purpose of my body became completely different."

On Monday, the proud papa posted a photo to his Life and Times account titled "Rapper's Delight." The snapshot shows a dish filled with gold and diamond jewelry, watches and a tiny blue pacifier.

Blue Ivy was on hand for Beyonce's Friday night concert at London's O2 arena. She held hands with her baby girl -- who was watching from the front row with a pair of protective headphones -- while she sang "Irreplaceable."
