A 25-year-old homeless man has been arrested in connection with the sexual assaults of two 7-year-old girls.
Authorities announced the arrest of Lee Samuel on Tuesday. NBC reports Samuel made several statements implicating himself in the assaults, which occurred in South Ozone Park last week.
The Queens District Attorney's office says Samuel allegedly approached the first 7-year-old girl and touched her buttocks.
Later that day, roughly two miles away from the initial attack, officials say Samuel then told another 7-year-old girl to play a game and close her eyes.
Upon opening her eyes, the suspect allegedly exposed himself.
The charges against Samuel include first-degree criminal sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and forcible touching. He faces up to 25 years in prison.
