We love a floral print. It's a reminder that spring has sprung and when rocked the right way, like our fabulous FLOTUS, it's the perfect fashion statement.

However, thanks to a few ill-advised celebrities, the cheerful pattern is sadly having the worst week ever.

First, Kim Kardashian showed up to the Met Gala on Monday in a flower-covered Riccardo Tisci gown that many are comparing to an ugly couch favored by the elderly.

Then Miami Heat forward Dwyane Wade showed up to his post-game press conference Wednesday night in a floral print leather Versace jacket and matching t-shirt. After winning Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, it's expected that Wade would want to throw on something a bit more upbeat. But this?

Megan Ann Wilson, Wade's stylist, tweeted a photo of the NBA baller's eye-catching look next to the original runway version from Versace's Spring 2012 menswear show:

We're going to go with ... not! While we appreciate a style risk taker, you don't always win in the game of fashion. Hopefully Wade's fellow NBA fashion stars won't follow suit.
