Thierry Henry, who is set to earn the highest salary in the MLS this season, scored a game-winning goal with a sublime bicycle kick on Wednesday night. The acrobatic strike, Henry's second goal of the game, came in the 88th minute and secured the New York Red Bulls' 2-1 win over the Montreal Impact.

"It was a good goal, don't get me wrong, but at the end of the day we had to score a goal," said Henry, via MLSSoccer.com. "It was not about how we scored. We needed a goal. ... I've had the opportunity to score some good goals in my career but you kind of think about it at the end of you career, not right now."
The win kept the Red Bulls tied atop the Eastern Conference standings.
