Ypsilanti — The Eastern Michigan University Board of Regents on Friday gave President Susan Martin a 2.7 percent pay raise and a two-year extension on her contract, one year after threatening to fire her if she didn't control her drinking.
The unanimous vote from the board's eight members increases her salary to $300,000 per year.
