Felice Varini Revamps Paris' Grand Palais With Electric Geometry (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

Felice Varini is known for his colorful projections that transform iconic edifices into geometric playgrounds. The Swiss artist's most recent installation took over the colossal Grand Palais, adding tangerine polka dots to the classical stone facade.

The eye-popping installation, achieved through a combination of stencils and projectors, only appears proportional when seen from a specific vantage point. We spotted the work, which went up last month, on This Is Colossal, and enjoyed the intricate illusion.

What do you think, readers? Is Varini's new piece the perfect combination of classical and modern or a heinous offense to a historic site? Scroll down and share your opinion below.
