The MLB Fan Cave invited 13-year-old Nick D’Annibale, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in November of 2011, to play some wiffle ball in the streets of New York City last Friday. Little did D'Annibale know that he would be playing with one of his favorite players, Yankees slugger Robinson Cano.

A lifelong Yankees fan, D'Annibale was visited by the four-time Silver Slugger award winner when he popped out of an ice cream truck passing by.

"I couldn't even believe it, really. I thought it was just going to be ice cream," said D’Annibale, who was wearing a No. 24 jersey as Cano. "I had no idea. I was really surprised."
