Kate Middleton Baby Nursery Might Actually Be Humble

Could Kate Middleton's Baby Nursery Actually Be Humble?

Kate Middleton's baby is due in the next few months, which has us wondering if she has the royal nursery ready. But if you think the bundle of joy will be living the life of luxury, think again. A source told Us Weekly that, "They have a small nursery prepped, but it's humble."

The couple is living in a two-bedroom cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace while their apartment within the royal residence is being renovated. The 20-room apartment (yes, you read that correctly) is just one of the homes that Kate is renovating -- the other is Anmer Hall on the Queen's country estate at Sandringham.

Marie Claire UK has chronicled that Duchess' recent shopping excursions to purchase home decor, noting that she "often visits the tiny antiques stores, as she sources furnishings for her royal nursery." While the baby may have a vintage-inspired nursery, we do know that a Moses basket has been purchased as well as a fancy Bugaboo stroller. According to that august source The Daily Mail, the Duchess has purchased the fancy top-of-the-line stroller in light blue.

Of course, much of this is speculation, but we will continue to wait with bated breath as Kate nears the end of her pregnancy.
