New Portrait Of Kevin Spacey As Richard III

A new portrait of Kevin Spacey will go on display at the National Portrait Gallery this September. Painted by renowned contemporary portraitist Jonathan Yeo, the work depicts Spacey as Richard III, Shakespeare's notorious king, whom he played in 2011 at London's Old Vic Theatre in a production directed by Sam Mendes.

Spacey is artistic director of The Old Vic Theatre, although his tenure will finish in 2015 after 12 years in the role.
