WATCH: Arsenal Star Scores In Nine Seconds

It only took nine seconds for Germany forward Lukas Podolski to strike first during an international friendly against Ecuador on Wednesday.

The German side quickly opened the scoring in Boca Raton, Fla. when Equador played the ball to their backline after kick-off. Defender Gabriel Achilier was challenged by Podolski immediately, and lost the ball to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger's favorite finisher just outside the box. After just one touch, Podolski put it past the goalkeeper.
