As the weather gets warmer, you're bound to see some stinky 'lil animals lurking around your property. But, removing skunk odor from the home can be a bit of a challenge. We came across a post from Lynn of Lynn's Kitchen Adventures, who experienced this unfortunate situation herself, but she did find an easy solution.
Simply place bowls of white vinegar around the house. According to Lynn, they will absorb the smell after one day. And although she admits the house smelled a little acidic, after she removed the containers, her place didn't reek like skunk or vinegar. GetSmellOut.com also recommends just wiping down walls and furniture with a mixture of one part white vinegar and eight parts water.
