Cleaning Those Pot Holders Is Something We've Never Thought Of Doing, But Really Should

Cleaning your pot holders probably isn't high on your to-do list (or on there at all, for that matter). But when these little kitchen helpers get grimy, it's awfully sad to just throw them in the trash or hide them in a drawer for your roommate to deal with. Luckily, the Kitchn found a simple solution for tackling all that crusty cake batter and tomato sauce.

Simply throw the pair into the the washer on the hot cycle -- and that's it! Pretty easy, right? Well, to make getting these mits clean even more simple, after each wash, Graham and Rosemary Haley, authors of Haley's Cleaning Hints, recommend misting them with spray starch to help prevent grease stains.
