Bill O'Reilly expressed his outrage over the government's major surveillance program during his Thursday Fox News show.
O'Reilly's Fox News colleague Megyn Kelly joined him on air to provide details on the bombshell story that exposed the NSA's sweeping program collecting millions of Verizon customers' phone data.
"The O'Reilly Factor" host seemed deeply concerned about the way the Obama administration could use the program to target the GOP, comparing the NSA scandal to the IRS targeting Tea Party groups.
"Did you hear about the IRS scandal? Did you hear about the IRS taking personal information and feeding it out to left-wing websites?" he said to Kelly. "You’re telling me that can’t happen here? Absolutely can happen! So, for example, some conservative senator calls Trixie at the Hot Licks Massage Parlor—guess who knows it?! And guess who can put it out any time they want?"
"Do they know it or is it knowable?" Kelly asked. "We don't know the answer to that."
"I know the answer to it!" O'Reilly insisted.
